Our Story
T&S Machines and Tools was founded in 1990 in Gainesville, Texas, with a mission to make the best machinist or engine builder in a shop more efficient and more precise. For over three decades, we’ve designed, built, and supported machines for the automotive engine reconditioning industry.
Over the years, T&S has built a wide range of equipment: seat and guide machines, three-angle valve seat cutters, CBN resurfacing machines, centerless valve grinders, CNC blueprint systems, balancing machines, and the tooling and fixtures that go with them. That breadth of experience across the engine reconditioning process informs everything we build today.
Today, T&S is focused on two product lines that represent the future of our business: the TS1000 BlockMaster CNC Engine Block Machining Center, and our partnership with ProBal Dynamic Balancing to serve the automotive balancing market.
What We Do Today
BlockMaster CNC Engine Block Machines
Our TS1000 BlockMaster is a conversational CNC machining center that bores, surfaces, cuts lifter bores, and notches pan rails - all in one setup. Designed for the shop that works on everything that comes through the door.
ProBal Dynamic Balancing
T&S represents ProBal Dynamic Balancing in the automotive industry. From crankshaft and driveshaft balancers to electronics upgrades for existing machines, we supply balancing solutions for performance and production engine shops.
Supporting Our Legacy Products
While our focus has shifted to the BlockMaster and ProBal balancing lines, we haven’t forgotten the shops still running our older equipment. T&S continues to provide parts and service support for our legacy products, including the TS3000 BlockMate surfacer, TS5000 High Capacity Surfacer, TS2075 Valve Grinder, TS500 three-angle tooling, and System 2000 Seat and Guide Center.
