The latest innovation from the T & S drawing board is the Rapid Set-up
Cylinder Head Cradle. This patent-pending cradle was designed for use
on our TS-5000 High-Speed Mill to clamp and align cylinder heads for
resurfacing. The system uses the original surface of the head as the datum point for alignment. As with all our products, speed and accuracy go hand-in-hand to give you the fastest set-up possible on cast-iron domestic and aluminum import or domestic heads. The RSC-5000 Cradle is the quickest method in the industry for setting up high-performance angle milling or zeroing all four corners of any cylinder head. It's versatility is unmatched as it can be used on any surfacer with a maximum vertical clearance of eighteen inches!
